|9-cm-Topf|The only species of the cacti family native to the African continent. Native habitat: East Africa, Uganda, Lake Victoria, Sese Islands, Bugala Isle and souther Kalangala. Species grows up in 10m height on trees of the primary forest in communities with orchids and ferns. The particular specimen was found at Lake Victoria, 1134m NN in a forest 30 m above sea level on the 5th Feb. 1992.Well branched with15cm in length at least.
