|3,5-4 cm Ø|Endemic to Mexico (Quetaro, Hidalgo and Guanajuato), the range extends to about 4,500 square kilometres and occurs in 19 known localities. Illegal collections are an ever-increasing threat to this species, which has been experiencing a dangerous decline in sexually mature specimens for years.
