1st of March 2025, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Welcome Spring with us with the first flowers and everything you need to grow your cacti. Enjoy a tour in the greenhouses and then coffee and freshly baked cakes.

34. Open Day at Kakteen-Haage

Satureday, May 10. 2025, 8 a. m. to 6 p. m. 

• Sales on more than 1500 m²,
• get the opportunity to take a look at our mother plants,
• advice and technical discussions with the cactusgardeners
• the legendary cactus bratwurst and other Thuringian delicacies, sizzleling fresh from the charcoal grill

Cactus Workcamp - a day as a cactus gardener

Saturday, May 24th and Saturday, May 31st 2025,  

start 9.30 am to 4.30 pm 

A crash course in the world's oldest cactus nursery. Held by cactus gardener Ulrich Haage, who passes on his experiences - but also the opportunity to actively help in the nursery and to gain practical experience.

(translates like: Summer festival cross the beds)

Celebrate the most beautiful summer days with us!

On August 23rd, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. the summer party starts in the seventh round

There is a lot to discover: There are more than 20 different stands. Herbs and cacti, yoga and smoke, herbal ice cream and cactus bratwurst, rare shrubs and seeds, rose products and jewelry - and much more.

According to the motto: Cross bed and across the street!

The summer festival Querbeet is organized by the herb nursery Valeriana and Kakteen-Haage.

34. garden rarities fair and 25. cactus fair in Erfurt

30. and 31. August 2025, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - One of the very large cactus exchanges with many cactus sellers at the fantastic Erfurt horticultural exhibition EGA.

There are many other plants to discover on the Thuringian gardening days as well as advice, lectures, but also relaxation. Discover the wonderful EGA park, the Danakil desert and rainforest house - home for countless cacti - and the most beautiful playground is also here for children.

Our nursery is also open on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. so that you can visit both! We look forward to seeing you!
PS: Should we bring you plants or other special requests to the EGA? Let us have your orders by Thursday evening.
